i finished blight town before even stepping foot in the forest. hell, i even beat sens fortress first.

i don't think there's any specific order that the garden fits in, it's just side and gets you different items.
plus doing sens fortress brings you to another area right after you beat the iron golem

yea. anor lundo? got there with my first build, but decided to create a new character now that i have an idea of the items ill be using. running through everything a second time is much simpler knowing what to expect.

as for next area, it's depth before blight town anyways, but yes, that's the area you head to if you want to progress through the story.


The Golem is behind where the Hydra is just to the left. You hug the cliff on the left side of that pond and follow it back and he'll be back in a little cove. As you head towards his there will be a ladder that goes up to a ledge on the cliff, if you climb it you'll wrap around the cliff to a bridge. Cross that and head right, you'll see a corpse that has a brave soul for you and another ladder just before him. If you climb that it'll take you to the other end of Darkroot Garden. Be careful though because the Moss Monsters in that area of the Garden are a lot tougher than the ones you encounter from the entrance of Undead Parish and roll in bigger numbers. If you can make it to the shiny that's within the Garden you'll get the Eastern Armor Set.

There are two threads for Dark Souls bruh, I think that's why this one got inactive or it's the purchased title of the other one attracting more attention :O
