i started it when it began airing like last year xD

on another note the series accel world is the same universe 20 years later (books written by same author as SAO), I didn't know about the connection though until NerveGear was mentioned in AW

I'm on episode 15 of 25 that they have + 2 special episodes.

I'm seeing they have Accel World and Accel World EX.

I've been keeping up with Shippuuden though. I watch it once it airs.

EX is an OVA i think and i still haven't watched it yet xD

so you're at the splitting point for sao then (and my favourite arc in the books, which i was reading by like ep4 or 5)

i usually pick up a few things every season so i at least have something to be able to watch every week at the very least although my backlog has grown a lot these days

I'm sure I can read the manga and books that they have also, but I'm not a big fan of reading stuff such as that online.

The only stuff I actually have physical is the .hack series 4 books.

SAO original source is light novel instead of manga

i tend to dislike reading books off the net, but there is no official translated physical copies so ya xD

Ah I didn't look to see if it were from a novel or not. I don't mind manga, but I like the anime a lot better as it puts it into perspective. For me it's kind of hard to imagine things in manga.

i do tend to prefer anime myself, but sometimes i end up reading the manga as well if it's something i really like (or in the case of Shingeki no Kyojin, something so good sounding I couldn't wait on it to start airing)

Will never understand people getting so deep into anime...

Same here. If it ends in a spot where I have to see more, I end up looking at the manga haha.

I have to ask though. Do the rest of the people wake up?
