Lol, they just made a bigger screen because both are the same resolution.

Makes me wonder if they will make one with better solution.

They could have done something with it considering it wasn't all that "cheap" at launch.



Every fucking game now... trying to milk the longevity(?) of a game by adding multiplayer so people still play it when DLC comes out...

When it first launched was a couple years ago it probably did cost a bit to get any device of that size to have a nice/decent resolution.

So I imagine they did want to keep the cost down. Now adays it wouldn't be as bad seeing higher resolution on smaller devices becoming more common.

One reason I think Tablets/Smart Phones are grabbing the Handheld market by the balls. Honestly I don't see Handhelds as a dedicated system lasting much longer with the way they are going and the way other non dedicated system are progressing.

Yeah tablets are more hardware capable while DS isn't which is in my opinion why they want to keep it at a good price point for a hand held.

If a DS had a tegra 4 in it... oh man the possibilities.

When you consider the 3ds sold 1.65 million consoles last quarter I don't think phones are grabbing it by the balls. The statistics are skewed. Almost everyone has a smart phone. These are all new people to the market. The people that will buy a console be it handheld or otherwise have and always will buy a console. The average person playing angry birds and words with friends and other various crap have never and will never purchase a console gaming machine.

What I was kind of meaning is that there is a strong push for old and new games to be played on tablets. Looking at next gen of consoles and PC there is so many options to intergrete Tablets into a gaming assessory along with making games avalible. There will always be those die hard fans that by a system because it is in their blood, but the new blood to the market in the future will (in my opinion) look at the two, being Tablets and Dedicated Handhelds, and they will think, "Why would I want a handheld when this Tablet can do more."
