I think for D2R $40 price tag, the developers ran out of money to make in game chats/ lobbies and don’t have to resource to make physical copies as well.
They treat D2R as a remaster and Blizzard resource n money mainly focus on D4 which will be $60.
I will still buy PS4pro version D2R $40 for Single player fully loaded ladder contents/ events, with brand new graphics/effects/music n sound after all these years waiting. If console multiplayer any good then I’ll check them out if worth the $60 yearly PS+ subscriptions.
Later on after getting brand new Desktop PC, I’ll then get pc D2R again hopefully on sale $20 to $30 lol. That would be mouse/keyboard free Bnet multiplayer lobbies and Fast PC GPU experience.
D2R will probably cost me $1,000 total, PC+2 x D2R versions :D
farm items to sell for fg then buy your pc copy for free = profit

it should install 28gb worth of stuff thats the full game but its locked damn wouldve been stoked to have single player only before all the pc players haha
