i had the same problem. looked up online a bit and what helped me is buying a corvette zr1 and buying the $365,000 racing modifcation on it. then upgrade it to the max and look up online for the best tuning settings, and cake. you'lll fly by every1

use the vette for like the wind, and once you win it, you get a minolta 88c-r toyota race car that you can use for all stars which rapes the game

Cheers man, cant wait to get my hands on the Toyota :D Was my fav Race Car in GT4.

stupid suggestion, does not fly by anything in like the wind, everyone can take corners better than you on and had better accell, jst wasted 700k?

i had a 28 second lead the indy race, and a 14 sec lead on the second one... that is FLY BY to me..
