that was a shit show and its kinda funny cuz anon was running ddos while it got jailbroken so sony just said fuck it took it down and rebuilt the entire psn and now anon said they will go after LS for ddosing the psn and xbl
sony legit needs to hire an anti hack team and a damn good one cuz they targeted quite often when your the best they always try to tear it down.. look at nintendo it sucks and nobody fucks with nintendo



there is a way however it fucks with everybodys connection a priv wow server i play on would get dossd by a rival and they had an anti ddos protection but logging on could be a bitch with it
also these are servers that have like a 6k population cap sonys psn servers have a lot more people so ddos protection might need to be more large scale and harder over multiple servers + LS ddos attacks are prob much better then the random ass rival server

I don't think people really post when they defend against DDoS attacks. You really think a company is going to post when they successfully prevent a DDoS attack? That doesn't happen. You can put in preventative measures (AKA defending). Sure when the attack starts you can't do as much but there still is a way to defend. I'm not that upset with it all. It is ridiculous to say that you can't defend against an attack. Maybe defending isn't the correct word but there are definitely ways to prevent it.

e/ regardless, it happened and if what anon is posting is true, then things should be fixed soon.
