just wondering if the only way to get a truck to do the amateur sport truck series is buying used

All cars must be 100% Repair (engine & chassis)

Ok duping with no memory card:
1. go to the left on cross media bar on PS3, add new user.
2. name new user GT5 BACKUP, or something like that
3. you don't have to give this user a PSN account, so don't!
4. Go to your main account, and go to PS3 game save data, find GT5 save, click triangle
5. Select Copy, then copy it to GT5 BACKUP account. (I have two in case something goes bad, I have another backup)
6. Make trade, buy cars for paint chips until you're broke, send them to a friend or another PSN account - do whatever you want because it won't matter, your save is backed up now!
7. Delete your game save in the main account. (scary huh?, that's why I back it up twice)
8. Switch to GT5 BACKUP user, find GT5 game save, hit triangle
9. Copy to your main account.

No problem.
