Not really you still receive the same story either way and I am still interested in playing it

Watching a playthrough before choosing to buy doesn't make sense. The game aspect is about personal experience. It's one thing to watch a clip or 2 to get a feel for it without spoiling your purchase, but to watch the entire playthrough, why purchase?

:bonk:

Guessing you've never actually played DnD.... If you ran a by the book campaign, and every single participant read the book and played it out word for word, it would be the worst and most boring piece of shit campaign in the fucking history of DnD, which is the point people are making here. Doing this ruins the game, and all you're doing is making his point for him....

Most DnD books are guides for how to play, not story driven narratives explaining to you and showing you every thing that's going to happen step by step. This has got to be one of the worst analogies I've seen in my entire life... Seriously man, if you're going to try making a point, you gotta have at least the smallest fucking clue about the material you're referencing to make your point, because a miss this fucking bad just makes your opposition's point for them..

If you'd like to understand how DnD works, I'd be happy to explain it to you. I'll admit that I haven't played in a long long time, but I ran plenty of campaigns and I've been a participant in campaigns ran by DMs with far more versatilty than myself.
