Varies drastically by state.

It's $11 here in Washington, but it's as low as $5.15 in Wyoming.

Also, in states like New Mexico (where I just moved from), they can pay servers as low as $2.5-$3/hour, because the rest of their minimum is made up by tips.

Not sure how the fuck people think it's possible to cover $1,500 working a part-time, minimum-wage job here in the U.S. Even if Washington, which has the highest minimum in the country, a 20 hour a week job (part-time), is only going to earn you about $220/week, which is $880 a month; and that's before Uncle Sam takes his fucking bite out of you. When all is said and done, you'll be walking away with about $700 if you're working a part-time job in the state with the highest minimum lol.

You fuckers are high as hell.

I moved from Albuquerque to Washington state recently and my boss begged me to stay on as a contractor who works remotely from across the country. Pretty impossible to replace me and she was up shit creek without a paddle. She's been massively underpaying me for years, so I said that I'd do it, but only if she doubled my pay. She agreed, so I'm making anywhere from $2.5k - $6.4k a month depending on how many hours a week I put in (which can vary drastically). Pretty sweet gig though and it's the same job I've done for almost four years now, so I'm pretty fucking good at it.

Minimum is just a fucking joke.
