I'm going to say you probably take the HDMI out pretty violently because I haven't had this issue and disconnect it all the time as well as others in this thread have stuff said the same. For it to rip pins out your either taking it out in an angle or just not paying attention because this seems more like user error then a hardware issue.
i can see whhy you'd think that, but i had made a conscious effort to be gentle with the device when i was handling it. i know how fragile hdmi ports are.
so there goes that theory. not saying im not to blame potentiallly, i'm just saying that some fuckery went down, and it's left me rather puzzled.
either way, this sucks, and every day that goes by is another day of my overpriced yearly sub wasted. need to get it fixedddddddddddddd naowwwwwwwww :[
