Yeah during some parts its noticeable, but I'm finding the game to be pretty fun and enjoying it slowly when i get to play. I don't know if you've ever been captured by the suits of armor that Trico hates... but it's scary as fuck lol you can button mash to escape their grasp when they pick you up and carry you.. it tripped me out.

Okay don't beat a dead horse big guy, i get it you think its an overrated game. This thread is not about SOTC and never will be so go debate somewhere else. I could tell you honestly right now that I have absolutely no desire to argue with you about your opinion of a 11 year old game. I didn't ask what you thought, by the way, and i really couldn't care. So unless you're talking about TLG don't post in this thread anymore.
I actually first owned the game on PS2 when I got it for Christmas the year it came out (I had played the game at my best friends' house, i thought it was the coolest game so that's all i talked about i wanted it so bad, but my birthday was right at Christmas so i had to wait), so my oldest sister gifted me it, and then I also bought the PS3 remake of it and that's where I played Ico (which i had heard and known about but didn't own on PS2). And that's all you really need to know, Thanks :)

History has proven it to be an overrated game. And because you started a thread didn't make you the leader of an internment camp. I'll talk about what I want.

How could have history proven it to be an overrated game? The game itself even aged pretty well among the games produced in the same year.

Simply, we know now that the controls are terrible and the game has a huge empty open world, even for the time. That's not an opinion. Then we can look back at the 10/10 reviews.
We can conclude, knowing what we know now, that the game received high praise at the time for being different. The game is overrated.

That really depends on how you interpret some things.. for me for example - there was a reason for the world to be empty, aside from the fact that ps2 couldnt handle more things technically.. as far as the controls go - yes, that is indeed an issue, but i will gladly play any game where all of the issues are of so low importance.. not to mention that u get used to those controls after 30mins or 1hour tops.

Just finished the game.. what can i say, the story is beautiful... and it literally squeezed few tears from my eyes during the ending... but, aside from that.. gameplay is really good and enjoyable, camera - u can get used to it, controls are fine... performance tho, its not. The way this game works on normal ps4 - its just too much... its not like its 25 fps or something.. i literally felt lke the further i got in the game, the fps got lower, and at the last 2 hours of the game i felt it to be around 10-20 all the fucking time, with drops below even 10 framerates at few points... i have finished shadow of the colossus on ps2, and that was a better experience fps-wise than the last guardian... i believe something like that happened:
- Guyz, what can we do to make the game playable?
- Optimize for ps4 pro and beg for forgiveness.
