I'm willing to bet that neither of you have seen a 4k tv in action.

my friends got a 4k tv there nice tvs and he plays ps4 cod on it lol
like literally only game ive seen him play is cod and he watches movies although he doesnt game all that much in general

He watches movies....thats probably why he bought it. They are also cheap now too. I need a new tv soon so I'll probably buy one because why not?

Really depends on the price but right now a reason to not buy is that lack of 4k content.

I agree. The only way I would buy one now is like I said, if I needed to go out and buy a new tv anyways because some places they aren't too much more money.

4k tvs are standard now. I don't see what the big deal is.

A 55" Samsung 4k costs less than the 46" 1080p Samsung i bought a few years ago with similar specs/class identification.


In fact, a Samsung 55" 4k (mid model) is only $598 on Amazon right now.

Major tv brands don't even make 1080p tvs any more.

The big deal is that these shitty developers are more focused on 4k graphics than actual fucking gameplay. Thats a problem. 1080p looks just fine. 4k is not needed. We need PERFORMANCE

I completely understand that aspect.

I'm just commenting on the price of tvs as it seems people believe 4k isn't the standard and that it is somehow expensive.

Consoles aren't ready for higher resolution and I'm completely okay with that.

Let me give you and example of Witcher 3. Story is good and graphics are ok but the gameplay is horrible. I thought we got rid of the resident evil -style gameplay 20 years ago. Game would be 4/5 but with this gameplay it's 1,5/5.
