Sounds like its just running dirty, its better to clean it out or get it clean before you get OS errors.

i cant lie.. i use the vacuum method. but may be a little reluctant next time after this thread.

also, if you open your ps4 it forfeits the warranty

i heard that vacuums with the option to reduce the suction are ok still.
never actually tried it though.

the ps3 manual said to use a low powered vaccum so one with low suction mode is pretty much the one they mean
it makes sense too u put a low powered vaccum to the vent low weight dust and shit gets sucked out ez pz in the most built up spots

idk about ps4 but i imagine its similar

I had this with my ps3 once, I cleaned it out from the inside and it was gone so maby that will help

Personally I don't. I do have to clean noisy pc's at work and I use compressed air.
