Same ISP. Different router since I was changing it from 100gb - unlimited.

Say for example, if my internet speed was 40mb, would it split between users in my household or would we all be running at 40mb? Maybe I am getting disconnected since I am not running at minimum requirements due to it being split? Only reason I can think of. When there is under 3 people on, I don't get disconnected. It's usually when the 4th person connects I seem to start losing connection.

you split the 40 between 3

There is a way though to define what device gets "priority". Like if its 30Mb/s shared you can make one device take 29 and make the rest split the remaining 1. It's called QoS or quality of service.

yeah you can have like 10 devices connected np
but if a couple of them are using bandwith like downloading streaming gaming ect ect you have to share the speed between them

doing this should help a lot theres gotta be something sucking up as much bandwidth as possible
like 40mb you really shouldnt be running into that issue even if each major device was to get 10mb u should be fine
but if one is using 30-35mb and 3+ are sharing 5-10mb that could cause issues

streaming usually takes up a good amount but honestly if it takes 30+ mb it should buffer the full movie within a few mins
downloading some games or something big could definitely suck up all your bandwidth if set to though

Everyone is using Netflix, so I figured it was that

I'll look into the quality of service thing.
