Not saying that you can't, but it makes it much harder. Especially when he probably makes less than 20k a year and he's 32. Anyway, that was his reason and its understandable. Its not a lifestyle that most people can do forever.

Maybe if his band wasn't shit then he could afford to bring his wife on your with him.

There's no money to be made in heavy music. Even the bands that consistently sell out large venues are scraping by.

Obviously you can.
Are you trying to tell me no touring musicians are married and have a family?

Definitely depends on the specific genre of heavy music

That's not the genre I'm talking about, I should have been more specific lol. When you get into the unknown subgenres of heavy metal, such as "deathcore" (what Thy Art Is Murder would call themselves) there isn't much to be made there. Even the bigger bands in the subgenre such as Whitechapel or Suicide Silence don't make anything worth talking about. Most of these guys just do it because they love it, as all musicians should.

Randy Blythe net worth, 1 million. And that's a lot less after fighting a manslaughter case. Lamb of God is probably a more known band too.

Yeah definitely, I wouldn't call them the same genre as Thy Art Is Murder, they're a lot different. But yeah, the softer you are within the metal genre the more money there is to be made lol.
