Analogy makes perfect sense, you are getting two valuable options that have zero impact on each other.

Saying 'derp 100 equals 100 but ps2 games are less valuable than ps4 games' or something also doesn't work because as I am saying for a 3rd time, people were asked 'do you want this' and obviously enough people said 'yes' to make it worth doing, otherwise it wouldn't be happening.

Well I'm not exactly happy with the NEX GEN all together, just hoping Sony will release something that will have an innovative feel. Feels like a ps3 in a new shell.

Thank god they put touch pad and speaker in the controller that I also dont use... At the end of the day you are correct about the update not effecting my experience, just don't personally feel like that a good thing.

E: and like I said there was a survey sent out to all psn accounts asking what they wanted on ps4, clearly people answered ps1/2 classics because that is what is happening. So your 'herrrrderp people don't want old games' idea is also wrong, which I am also explaining a second time.
