Mine has had zero issues and I play sm64 on that shit, well known as the worst game for joystick health. Honestly DS4 is the best controller right now, whether you think it is bad or not it is better than the other choices. Unless I suppose you want to pay $160 for an xbone controller to do stuff that the stock DS4 already does?

I've already gone through 1 controller due to the same thing. Another one of mine feels like it's starting to rip as well. Both controllers have been the left joystick too.

While l I have heard multiple issues with the sticks gettin very worrn down it hasnt happened to me. My main issues are the triggers and the bumpers. The bumpers get stuck on mine practically all the time and the triggers feel like they are consistently getting worse the more I use them. For comparison the triggers on the PS3 controllers had metal rods supporting them, for some reason they decided to use plastic rods on the DS4 for whatever reason.

Despite all of this I still think its the best controller on the market, I just hope they fix these issues.

They fixed most of those problems post launch. The sticks still wear down but the bumpers and triggers work worlds better on the controllers post release.

cant u guys get grips for them anyways? like isnt there a company who sells something thats suppsoed to make u o good at fps games?
if ur rubber comes off why not use that? like $5 vs however much for a new controller

To be brutally honest the ps4 controller is the worst piece of garbage I've ever used. Battery life is nil, who the fuck thought that controller shape fits the hand well? (maybe if you have baby hands), am I even holding a controller sure feels like I'm holding a plastic shell with a few wires. Can't wait till some 3rd party puts out 360 style controller for ps4.
