In all honesty though, the game was slightly disappointing. Really bad hitboxes with some matchups, such as Liu Kang's Uppercut hitting me from a distance that Kitana's can't although she uppercuts with her fans. I'm sure there are others but that is the one that angers me most as a Kitana main in MK9. The game isn't very innovative, I mean it has the new variations but there isn't really anything different, just now the characters abilities are split instead of joined like MK9. The Krypt is cool but I'm pretty sure no one actually goes through it and buys everything, they just search up the coordinates for the items they want. Story mode was short, really short, and it had that stupid teen drama storyline that just made me feel like I was watching One Tree Hill or Pretty Little Liars.(Not exactly what I want in a game that involve ripping out people's throats and feeding it to them. On the plus side, The graphics are gorgeous, Fatalities are brutal as ever, and well the game's fun. Just not amazing.
I agree with you on the story. It was absolute shit and made no sense. even though the story was good and deep in mk9, it's still not a major part of the game so I didn't care that it sucked on this one.
Kitana isn't played the same style as mk9, but she is balanced pretty well. Every character has moves that are useful and kitana uppercut is one you shouldn't try to use.
MKX is way more balanced than mk9. Waaaaaaay more. There's no "kabal".
Add me and we play. Itzpookiie
