How r the visuals / atmosphere compared to bloodborne?

Its good to first clarify the distinction, in my opinion, between visual and graphical.

Graphically is purely how it looks from a pixel resolution viewpoint. Where as visually the setting and art style come into play.

The Dark Souls series is known for its visually impressive worlds with massive vistas and interesting enemy design. Dark Souls 2 does not dissapoint.

In Bloodborne the visuals seem to work better together then Dark Souls 2.
Dark Souls 2 visuals are still something great and you will quickly see where Bloodborne drew its inspiration from. A quick google search of screenshots and I'm sure you will be hyped.

man I'm loving the changes they made so far
they added a ton of new pursuer encounters to the game, 1 of them I still don't know the trigger for it, but my friend I'm playing through this with encountered it
and the lighting in this version is much better, but it makes some areas dark as shit

I will play this (if possible) like bloodborne.
