the ps4 is also made to conserve power to stay cooler pcs not so much thats why they can have like 20 fans liquid cooling ect ect
id be worried to run a pc with that low of a psu id say get atleast a 500
and id say gotta be atelast a 4core if your going to make a pc that can do what a ps4 can

number of cores has very little to do with graphics. Main thing is it is a 3.2ghz cpu which is fine, the primary component of this build is the gpu.

Again for psu, that is more than enough. Computer fans use like 3wats on max setting, you would only need a higher psu if you were using crossfire/sli graphics cards or something like a gtx980. A lot of cards these days are much better on using a lower amount of power than previous iterations.

(thats a 430w psu, not 342 btw). Believe it is saying 342w is max amount used for this build. So yeah, that psu is way more than enough, trust me

honestly if you were to build a pc from scratch or buy a console pc costs more

sure pc has parts that are like $200 and can work better then the ps4 part but go build a pc to do what the ps4 can do or similar specs
a good case is what like $70-150? a psu is like $50 and right there u got a vid card psu and a case and ur at the ps4 price
sure games cost money say a few games is the rest of ur pc but u could trade those games in and get more... u cant do that with pc games becasue they are all 1x use codes

pc is by far the best but its got so many cons that console gaming doesnt have

the PC itself costs more yes, but in the long run it may save you money cause sales on PC games are common and the discounts can get pretty insane

there are a dozen ways to stream/play your pc on your living room tv

Valve is even working on a "steam link" box that you plug into your tv that hooks up to your pc wirelessly for those that are that lazy to set it up themselves

well duh its not that hard with hdmi pretty much everything is universal unless your living in the stoneage
still pc gaming to me is meh it can look the nicest have the best performance
but lets be serious its got the most hackers games that have certain glitches with certain hardware just cuz games have no resell value you need accounts for everything to use the 1x use code ect ect pc gaming is far from perfect
somes its easier to just dish out the extra 20-30 on a game to not have to deal with that kinda shit and play on consoles

I set my pc up to my tv once, hated it. Probably because I have a really nice monitor, everything just looks so much more crisp and nice

I even switched over my wiiu/ps3 onto my monitor
