birds are better than both, love my parrot :) hes a parrotlet (mini parrot) that little bastard loves me enough to clean my beard and fly to me all over my house

Cats are better for some things dogs for others. I wouldn't be able to leave a dog alone for a week while I leave, but a cat I can. That being one big factor.

I mainly played KZ for the story and bot skirmishes. :P
