Prior to the announcement, Gaikai registered domains for the name PlayStation Cloud, which was rumoured to be used for playing PS3 games on the new console. Those rumours turned out to be true.


im a little confused at this? so we can play our ps3 digitals on ps4?

The PS4 console itself will not be backwards compatible. But you could potentially play PS3 games via a cloud service. Whether this applies to games that you have currently downloaded/purchased to your PSN account, who knows.

so we got an official off topic thread but yet we still talk about ps stuff (ps4)
