they were going to charge ppl a fee to put an item on the AH even if it didnt sell id much rather it this way here apparently they only take % of big $$ items like 100+ anything under 100 is like a $2.50 fee thats added to the price of ur item... the buyer actually pays for it and the max u can have on ur acc/psot an itm for is $250 but u pay to cash out lol
like i said.. d2 was the same yet ppl act like d2 was the best game ever n d3 sucks becasue of it i dont get it...

pvm seems overpowered and they took out skill trees but im glad they do auto stats

to be honest i dont have a problem with the auction house in theory. but the problem is it does not and will never act as it was intended. the auction house was intended to give people an extra option when progressing through the game to gear up very similar to what jsp did for people in d2. you get low mid and high level gear and it helps you play through or create new characters etc.

right now nothing other than top level gear sells on the AH it is pointless to put low level gear on the AH because it will not sell. why doesnt it sell? there is no point to making new characters. once you have played all classes the game is done. you can get stronger and faster at end game and thats great but there is no point in replaying the game because of instead of creating a new wizard or wd you can change your skills at anytime. there also is no different gear combinations to consider at that point either. your 200+ int helm is going to provide the same results regardless of what kind of skills you are using on a wizard. same goes for other classes.

now since the core gamers (not the casual people that blizzard has been talking about in their stats of the people playing the game) are all lvl 60 and in inferno mfing the shit out of the game the auction house has become broken as a result. The people that frequent this website and say the game is shit are the core audience. The casual gamers that play things like sesame street on xbox that bought the game that are in the middle of the game still.... those people will quit in a month or two and go play stupid kinect and facebook games. leaving the auction house still completely hindered and creating a broken game where blizzard takes their money provides patches to make things harder to achieve and calls the game a success.

game is broken and jay wilson and his stupid auction house is to blame. people say that kids are mad because its not diablo 2.5 well atleast that would have been a step forward for the franchise instead of this game they made and put tyrael, diablo and cain into and called it diablo 3

honestly the ah is good imo and its to eliminate the gold selling sites like the ones spamming global chat (til the rmah comes up)
yeah u have 1 class u can change the skills for pvm... when pvp is out ur going to have different characters in didfferent set ups ur going to have 1 char change the skills around n switch gear everytime?
and yeah only higher lvl gear sells cuz thats what ppl need the most it what makes the most gold... thers tons of low lvl gear on the AH wtf r u talking about?
the games n oshittier then d2 was for the "core audience" anybody that says elsewiseis just butthurt they get owned in the game or like i said there still in normal saying oh the games way to fuckin easy its nort worth playing
i hnoestly dont have anyproblems with d3.. yeah the story sucks but its the same gameplay as d2 pretty much better graphics auctino house... its al lu could want for d3.. but for some reason these "hardcore diabl ofans" as they like to call themselves dont seem to be all that hardcore as they dont seem to know shit about the other diablo games

im not going to argue with you as thats going to get nowhere. im disappointed in some of the decisions that blizzard made in creating this game. they made it central to the idea of magic finding and took out all of the things that we all liked doing while magic finding. the auction house as it is now is a failure in my mind. i have no doubt its going to get better in time but i do not like it in its current incarnation nor do i like the idea of it. however i do understand and appreciate that it is to eliminate stupid real money sites (actually never considered that) w/e tho

how is the AH a fail? i really dont understand? u say cuz no low lvl items yet i can go buy awsomwe lvl 5-55 items usually for under 5k
yeah the good shit is expensive why wouldnt it be?n the drop rates might be a bit lower but u can craft legendarys n shit which u couldnt in d2 n finding a hr or coa or good unique in d2 was hard as hell even with botting .. n if the drop rates r so low why is there that many legendarys in the AH?
i think they did everything right they added what needed to be added to d3... yeah the story n game itself isnt perfect... but what diablo game is? ppl compalni about the skills put elective mode on then "everybody is forced to use the same skils" ... we did on d2 until they patched in synergys even then barely any different skills being used
e: and i am a hardcore diablo fan i palyed the fuck out diablo 1 played the fuck out of diablo 2 n ima prob play the fuck out of d3 i know my diablos n it relaly bugs me the way ppl compalni n compare to d2 like d2 is the best game ever its perfect when its far from it lol

i manually mf'd probably more hours than anyone i know. i enjoyed it. finding a shako to me was better than waking up to a bot of 10 shakos.

i made plenty of characters that no one else made and enjoyed them. i lvl 99'd a whirlwind barb... thats dedication right there.

story? i dont mind the story. it is what it is... could it be better? yeah they need to hire someone to check for continuity but i was willing to let it be where it was.

elective mode doesnt solve the problem. it helps but it is really not the same as being able to power up a specific skill over time.

i am with you i also played the fuck out of d1 and d2. those 2 games combined i have more hours on than i have on all my games from any pc or console combined. so i am with you. i just however am disappointed in the current state of play and am currently eagerly awaiting some game changing patches that they are talking about for the future.
