No. You're wastly overestimating gaming industry. When did you check up hollywood movie budgets last time? Also, copyright is a copyright. Activision knows they would get their asses whooped good time and therefore they have no interest doing that.

blizzard not activision is insanely rich from wow subs game sales the real money auction house that d3 had etc etc
if you think blizzard is poor you are grossly undervaluing blizzard and how much they put into a game/ get back from games

a quick google blizzard apparently made 960million from d3 alone and thats just sales

and i doubt there would be a copyright issue diablo is pretty much the devil anybody can say it or use it


e: wow activision and blizzard merged? no wonder game quality has dropped activision ruins everything it touches
