It's anger over the fact that a paid for service can be taken down by a bunch of dumb kids DDoSing a multi billion dollar companies servers........Both microsoft and sony are over charging for service that is unreliable.....I thought when sony started charging it would get a bit better but apparently nothing has changed.......

I never said that I was a professional or that I could do it well, however you can defend against DDoS. Just Google it. DDoS is just over-trafficking the servers, so you can definitely put in preventative measures.

You can alleviate but you cannot defend. As is evidenced by some having access while others do not. You give me one solid example of a company completely defending a ddos and I'll change my opinion.

That being said I know why people are mad. I'm a little annoyed I can't play. I can't even sync trophies from my vita. But being mad gets you no where. As I said earlier shit happens and if the worst thing is that I can't play a video game because some kids on Twitter are taking credit for a ddos they aren't committing then oh well time to watch a movie, read a book, watch the snow fall or do something else.
