is it possible for someone to give a quick tldr of what the expansion entails
wanna see what I'm missing out on haha
damn 30k posts I'm so old
Will try to sum up the patches and what the expansion includes as concisely as possible. Will only list major nerfs/buffs.
Disclaimer: I have a tendency to type a lot, so this attempt at a TL;DR might actually fail. Let's find out. Nevertheless..Crucible- Thorn range nerfed, UR nerfed (finally)
- Sniper flinch increased (30% -> 50%)
- LDR/1KYS archetype nerfed, can no longer snipe out a super
- New Crucible Game Mode: Supremecy, if you played CoD, it's essentially Kill Confirmed with "crests" instead of dog tags
- "New" weapons added to loot pool, such as the return of popular guns like 77 Wizard, Ill Will, Matador 64, you can find a full list if you Google
PvE/Generic Changes- New raid, LL 370 recommended
- New patrol zone, "Plaguelands"
- New social space, "The Iron Temple"
- Three new strikes: "Sepiks Remastered", "The Wretched Eye", "Abomination Heist"
- Light Level cap increased to 385 (400? I've seen 387 items drop so..)
- Challenge of the Elders 30K and 90K rewards now reward up to 365 Light
- New strike playlists that drop 340 Light gear and 365 Light gear, respectively
- Ornaments introduced (want a Black Hawkmoon with gold decal? Well, it's possible now)
- Play a Hunter? Sick of trying to find the perfect cloak to match your shader? Well, now your cloak changes color with your shader, because, lets take two years to figure that one out /s
- FREAKING GJALLARHORN IS BACK BABY! HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE..... HYPE!!!!!
There is A LOT more included in Rise of Iron, but I listed the key things that would probably be of interest to someone wanting to get Rise of Iron.
For a full breakdown, here are the respective patch notes if you feel like reading them:
Hope this helps! If you have any specific questions, just let me know
