The DLC went live immediately at 5, but the servers got fucking crushed by the traffic lol

Edit: 45 minutes after release, the first time ever that Bungie has had a queue to log in lol I'm sitting at 53k in the line.

Mhm. Fucking nuts. Also, kind of bullshit, since it's a traffic issue. DLC launches are so hit and miss nowadays.

Well I thought of getting on to play at 1PM, I guess I'll go start the queue now. It's a good thing that it's getting great traffic though, perhaps lots of new players so I don't have to wait 4+ minutes during matchmaking down the road

Apart from the server complications this morning, having a blast so far. Loving the new zones, very cool. The new enemies are pretty interesting, too.
Almost finished the quest to get Gjallarhorn, so excited to finally get my hands on that.

After I get my Gjallarhorn, my next weapon I have my eyes on is definitely Matador 64. Was able to get a Last Ditch from a Dead Orbit package.
Nothing too crazy, but the roll I got does hit the range cap, so there's that. But the model of the gun is so off-putting that I can't even use it.

TL;DR: HYPE!!
