They aren't shitty. People just don't use them because they would rather use a MAV or if they where to use a Soflam they would rather be sniping than actually using it to lock on.

Increase the Soflams range and make it smarter on locking on vehicles and I can guarantee you more people will use it.

I have had no problem using the Soflam. You can set it up on Canals on rush or conquest and mark the shit out of anything with ease. People just never want to actually go into the gadget. They just set it up and leave it there.

What, do you want the citv station to auto target too? Maybe the MAV can fly around by itself too. Might as well set up a motor and let it bloop rounds by itself too. The EOD bot should just go and plant by itself too, right?

All you have to do is press one button and you're able to view the Soflam from wherever you are on the map. So if you see a heli or vehicle just hop on it and lock it. takes like 5 seconds.

But the thing is the Soflam was meant to spot by itself. All I'm saying is it needs to do a better job of spotting.

the one thing soflams have going for them is that their hitbox is beyond glitched as fuck.

you can shoot it 6 times directly with a tank, but if you dont hit that one magical pixel on it you wont hurt it at all.
can unload full 50cal till the tank turret overheats and never hit it usually. its retarded if the soflam is locking on to you.
