I need at least 5 warm up games before I am decent and I am not that good overall. It is just hard to have fun playing it so I just go play other things. I want the triumph emblem but sucks they had to integrate pvp into it.

It makes sense, though. A large portion of the game is pvp related, it wouldn't be fair to the player base that likes crucible if they made it 100% pve

IIRC year 1 did not have pvp in it.

Year 2 wasn't bad, but it could have been better. I consider myself a pretty good destiny player. I always beat the raids the first week. I beat all of the challenges the first week. I lead randos to victory in the raids. I want all of the year end emblem rewards because destiny is going to be a long investment in video gaming for me. When destiny 2 comes out, maybe the 60fps and other changes to the game will make me enjoy pvp much more and I will be a better player. But right now I just don't enjoy it and it kind of sucks to think about that I will miss out on something I want to collect because I don't want to do something that I don't enjoy. I will probably slog through it eventually. I actually played three quarters of a salvage match the other day. Only need 1 probe deployment for the next step now. Ugh.

I had an awesome time in Year 2, personally. But honestly, I just miss the prestige raid rewards had in Year 1, you know? Like in Year 1, Fatebringer was something I was hunting for the longest time.

In Year 2, you get raid drops and they are simply infusion fodder, nothing more. You never hear people say, "ugh still hunting for this Zaouli's Bane", ever. You'll hear "still need a 335 helmet, ughh".

Dunno, we need more incentives to raid apart from reaching max light level. Even after I hit level 34 in Year 1 I was still looking for Fatebringer and Praetorean Foil. Didn't get Fatebringer until like a month before TTK.
