hdmi imputs are on the back of the tv

to switch cables i would have to unamount the 50 some inch tv from the wall mount just to switch cables

Use the standart ps4 ones. I have pretty good gaming headset but only use them it if i play alone

When playing with friends, the standart ones are the best imo because one ear is free. Gamesound should come from the tv if you use them tho. This way you hear your friends from your ear which alows you to communicate better and hear then better than wirh any gaming headset.
