It's about recovery. Dot keeps recovery from kicking in.

Skip nades chase and do the same amount of damage, void nades all do the same amount of damage if not more. Lightning nades 1-2 shot depending on the nade. Fusions have aim assist.

No one calls for nerf on any of those. So what if something has dot. They are used more so people cry but they are just as powerful if not less so than the rest.

It's about recovery. Meaning you are one shot from death for far longer. You are out of the fight.

Don't know why they had to nerf mida and snipers. Nerfing mida just buffed snipers even more.

Recently decided to pick up Destiny again with some friends and got a quick question.

All the gear that I got and saved from the old days, (SUROS regime, MIDA multi-tool, thorn, all the Crota Raid stuff, Gjalla (and most other exotics aswell)) are they useless now? Any reason to keep them around? (Basicly pre-The Taken King exotics)

If you want to use them in crucible activities without level advantages.

Other than that they are always available in the blueprint kiosks by the venguard

Yaksha it is the same grenade as arc bolt and obviously I'm saying Viking funeral needs the nerf not the actual Firebolt but who even runs it without vf

DoT is such a dumb mechanic and keeps you out of a fight or away from helping teammates for around 15 seconds and allows people to track you through walls

And I see nothing wrong with it. Used strategically most grenades keep you out of a fight. Void wall and lightning grenades make you take another path and push you one way or another. It's just a different means of the same strategy. With the exception of the very few times I've seen your argument the prevailing argument I see against firebolts is that you throw one and shoot someone once and they're dead. This can be said of all grenades provided they make contact.
