nope i don't think so because games that are USA are NTSC and European such as UK are PAL, so it will never work lols. unless i buy ps3 from America then ship it to UK and then buy collectors edition, yeah can do but that'd be a waste of time lol :(

just like most of the previews answer, YES !!! PAL or EU games does work with the NTSC or US console.

my set up:

PS3 120GB Slim US version(directly plug-in to 220V outlet)

Samsung 32" LCD HD Ready Flat screen tv EU version

HDMI cable is a MUST !!!

EU or PAL Games:

Sonic "Sega All-Star Racing"

DragonBall Z "Burstlimit"

Need For Speed "Carbon"

Formula One "Championship Edition"

EU or PAL Blu Ray Film

Inception

Sherlock Holmes


works both ways. games are region free if using hdmi for video
