Where the hell is the Moonlight Butterfly in Darkroot Garden? I can find Sif, but I haven't seen the Butterfly, and this is from me spawning from the cave bonfire in Darkroot Basin, any idea how to get to the butterfly? I wanna kill that thing.

(Have already rung both bells, don't feel like going to Sen's yet)

butterfly is in darkroot garden not basin.

going from the room with the blacksmith, you just exit into the garden and keep going straight till you see that sealed door, then you take a right and go down that path, but becareful cause there are stone giants in there that "activate" when you get too close to them.
anyways, in there you'll see a broken tower kind of thing with stairs inside and just take that path up and you'll approach a white fog, enter and fight begins

So, how does the difficulty compare to Demon's Souls so far? Getting mixed feedback

Yeah I found it before checking back. I was simply wondering how to get there from the Basin. Parts of the Darkroot Forest aren't all intertwined, I just took the path all the way back up to more or less where you initially start and backtracked and finally found it. I never did go further into the area because of the stone guys before, but this time I just dipped past them and murdered that butterfly. It was alot smaller than I thought it was going to be. Trailer made it look like a monstrosity but oh well. Fight sucked too. Sif was easy too ;/

Really stuck at a part on blight town. I'm at the part with the first wobbly bridge and 2 red firebreathing dogs. There's no ladders and 2 dead ends where I can see a lot of items/monsters/etc in the distance but there's no way to get to them. I checked everywhere and don't see any ladders or anything indicating where to go next. Any suggestions?

dude how did you get past those cat bear things? they cause so much lag lol

there are ladders usually, you can find them with torches, that's the only way, so what i advise is killing anything and everything off, so you have time to carefully inspect everything.
but the torches kind of "light" the path
