My biggest complaint about Rift in particular is simply I hate most of the maps in the very limited rotation.

Only map I totally dislike is vertigo. For an almost completely symetrical map it is fairly unbalanced

Memento is the best rift map.

Cathedral is a cardio workout but if you're smart on rift you distract the other team on one side of the map while killing minimally that way they don't respawn at their base when you're team is going in for the cap.

Sounds to me like you like bitching about the game more than you like playing it.

Memento is pretty uneven, if you spawn alpha you're pretty much fucked, there is a tunnel from the rift spawn directly to the capture point and it takes like 5 seconds to get the dunk

Didn't say it was balanced. But it's pretty manageable if you guard that tunnel. Grab a sniper watch that catwalk from the tunnel and quickly switch to primary if you hear that runner coming toward you
