I do not get it, connection based was instituted for trials right off the bat, it was great with the exception of ddosing and lagswitching.

Why didn't they apply this to all the modes? And continue banning people for exploiting connections

They are boneheads. Seriously changed matchmaking for skill based disregarding the most important thing in online gaming which is having a good connection in game.
