U mean the big red dragon on the bridge? u can kill it later (or let it kill itself, or let it fly away).

cut off its tail. 2 handing a claymore (you get it on the bridge hes on) that you lightning enchant (you get 3 gold pine resin at the place where u fight the first black knight)
should take 2 hits to cleave it off


to kill it, stand under the bridge and shoot it with like 200 arrows

only other way to kill it is to stand in the stairwell and shoot spells at it when it comes down.
or
hide in the safespot on the right side of the bridge, lure it down run up hit it a few times, run down the stairs b4 it kills you, repeat as long as luck holds out. if it does the move where it flies up and breathes fire down youre dead

its called the hellkite dragon, and it gives 10k souls when killed

I suggest u don't kill it anytime soon, use the place to soulfarm, let the dragon kill the hollows.

kk red dragon is still there and i killd the gargoels the one with the axe tail and i didnt get the break off i guess does he respawn or its like a hit or miss type of thing?
i got the Gargoyle helm as a drop
