there ways to counter people circle strafing around you, you just have to learn how

i was just as mad you are right now when i started pvping, then i learned the basics

somersault ring and go backwards -> cleave everywhere infront of you with a claymore or w/e

if youre not using heavy weapons expect alot of teleport backstabs

Somersault ring makes rolling more like it was in DS, right? Haven't actually gotten the ring yet, but rolling right now seems a bit inefficient, even at 25%.

wood grain ring is pretty boss. rolling is one of the most effective things in the game.. unless the person is using a weapon that cleaves majorly. in which case he is not trying to backstab you.

Yeah, rolling was great in DS, but up to this point I have mostly just gone for more armor and poise (since rolling so far isn't nearly as effective as in DS).

Guess I'll get the ring and give it another shot.

the dwgr is def overpowered

gives 50% armor user fast slip + 25% speed?

imo the flip should only be for 25% armor user, that way you dont see people in full havel flipping everywhere

defense is a bad tactic in this game.. poise and stuff matters but you need to assess the enemy. if they are using a big weapon, poise and stuff matters if you plan to block the attacks. but you can just as easily use rolling as a technique as well. less defense though means youre more vulnerable if you DO get hit.

if they are using a smaller weapon, chances are they are going to use magic or try to backstab you. or worse, its a lightning weapon and it will get you anyway.

e/ my new char is like level 37 now i just got to anor londo. dex/faith build.

my first toon was a 50 str build, using greatshield and big str based weapons was fun but learning to backstab and use rolling is just as good of a way to approach enemies.

Does anyone know if i can still get some of those hidden codes? Apparently, they were giving away codes for something ingame
if you were able to solve puzzles. I cant find anything about the codes that is recent, only dated back in May. I was wondering
if we are still able to get them.
