Rank 3 SRL and already 2 315 helmets within 5 races of hitting rank 3

Will the +1 armor still proc from the helm of inmost light granting headstrong?

I got the helm 320 relatively quick, took ~150 games to get the mark 320 though

so 320 helmet and class items drop past rank 3 in srl irregardless of light level. friend hadnt got any character higher than 295 and got 2 320 drops just today

I only do enough races for bounties usually
I've been doing a few more races now since I'm rank 3 now and don't care about winning

Anyone trying to run the normal raid? Only 279 light but I know what to do just trying to get whatever pieces I can before reset.

oryx challenge is to 1 hit KO him by detonating 16 orbs at once. should be pretty easy

should be easy but again, you know how bad people are at destiny, especially at oryx. Struggling to make no mistakes in the first phase...
