yeah unfortunitely DICE has turned into a shitty developer team because they don't even updated their games anymore with patches... there are SOOO many fucked up things about this game and all DICE is doing is sitting back and relaxing...
We've only had ONE freakin update this whole entire two months....

just on top of my head.
the 12G Frags, the A-10 thunderbolt being glitched and not unlocking points for jet, the stupid and unaccurate crosshair on the scout helos, sound keeps cutting out time to time, supressors not working on some guns, it would be great if they could patch the MAV getting roadkills - it's hella annoying, the random miscellaneous Bad Luck deaths, team balancing, VOIP is a hit or miss still, and some other shit.
and it looks like the next patch is coming out in February... these guys are hella slow..

idk man because 1 hit drops them to 45% and 2nd hit should destroy the thing. you probably waited a while between the 3 shots and let the jet replenish it's health
