Only concern is with the custom made lobbies, that's not a small change. They promised to make a lot of changes to WC3R and nothing ended up happening. Over a year later there still isn't a ladder that they promised us, there is no profile win/loss just like they promised us, there is no clan support which they promised us. These were all big things that never got changed.

I've lost A LOT of faith in Blizzard over the past few years of overall just being awful, figured with D2R it'd be hard to mess up and they were saying that they were going to change absolutely nothing. Well turns out that console was actually changed a great deal. I just moreso wish they didn't have to change big things after launch and just got it right in the first place.

imo making this faithful remaster was probably partially because of diablo immortal fiasco so i dont they want more bad publicity on this one

We will see. I think this game will fail without the lobbies and looking at pretty much all the feedback about consoles the major outrage is not having lobbies. So hopefully they listen and can get this fixed. The game will be very boring without lobbies or having friends to play with.

you can join friends game with ps, no invite to group option?

You can play with friends yes, but a big part of the game is trading with the community, doing baal /tomb / chaos etc runs, farming keys. Most of the games I play are shooters therefore most of my friends won't be playing a game like D2. So I am pretty reliant on playing with pubs to enjoy the game and be engaged with the community. Playing solo is pretty boring to me.

A lot of reddit / diablo forums are saying the community feels separated on console and I have to agree with them.

they have said they are making trading much better somehow iirc. like proper places and all
there is always d2jsp and discord servers to find friends
ill try to find a group for launch and see what happens from there
its definitely extra hassle and if it must be done that way then ye problem for playerbase

d2 console is made for the d3 console players
if you want true d2 play it on pc
