Yeah in the controller settings when you press and hold the ps button

so I haven't made the kids aware that I bought a PS4 the other night..
I decided that Im going to wrap up one of their old video game systems in the PS4 box and give it to them on April Fools

I just noticed the more dead the ps4 controller is, the faster the light will "pulse"

And the closer it gets to filling up, the slower it will pulse.

Pretty neat

Or they could just....turn it off overall....

Those reasons are stupid.
It's a nice touch

I remember not liking this feature as soon as they announced it and a couple people here disagreed with me.
I really wish you could turn it off.

Light bar fucks up where the charging port is. It's position puts your cable at a weird angle which when you put it down doesn't bend the port but it bends the cable. I'm close to having to replace a cable and it's only been 5 months. I've had the same ps3 cable for 4 years

I don't see how a centimeter of difference between the light bar andport makes a difference honestly.
And also as soon as I'm done playing games for the night I always plug it in and the battery is more than enough for the day


They said they're allowing you to dim the light in the next patch. But I personally love the light bar. It adds a nice look to the controller
