From what I've seen, it's quite an achievable platinum. I think ysobad and popcorn have done it.

Yeah, it doesn't look too bad. I wish they didn't throw in any MP trophies but whatever.
I am just not getting a lot of time to play because of work. I have been working on my first normal playthrough for about two weeks and should be able to finish it up tomorrow. Then it's time to start Survivor+.

To a point. I can see how it adds lasting appeal to games, and you can argue that trophies are meant to do the same thing, but let me give you a for instance why I hate online trophies.
I regularly scour the bargain bin at walmart. I am not oppose to playing a really old game while everyone plays the newest craze.
It wasnt too long ago I picked up Dead Island for $10 or so. I liked it and was generally having a good time so I went for the platinum.
But, I am sure you guessed already it has online trophies. The online community has long been dead and I only managed to get the trophies by getting lucky in a trophy boosting thread on a different forum.

Is anyone going for the platinum on Diablo III?

So I finally decided to get the last trophy I needed to obtain the platinum on Borderlands, after almost 13 months! That makes it 8 now.
