im about to restart as well ><, does any1 know when you die, do they enemies get harder each time or no?

finally beat that pos taurus demon. if you guys didnt know, there are numbers (00) etc on the left hand side. once it goes to one, you can be "human" by reverse holllowing at a bonfire and summon people to help you/invade you. also when your human, it allows new dialogue between npc chars.

Yeah, this is called Humanity level.
So, there are two ways you can be, similar to Demons Souls.
One way is called Hallowed, which means you are undead. Exactly the same as Soul Form from Demons Souls but without the HP loss.
and the other way is Alive.

To become Alive you need to use one Humanity and a bonfire. Just go to Reverse Hallowing.
You get Humanity through items and certain action. I don't exactly know what those actions are yet but I keep noticing my Humanity go up as I play through a level.

Like mentioned, being alive allows different NPC dialouge,
allows people to join your game and also be invaded,
and also to Kindle a Bonfire. Kindle'ing a Bonfire also costs one Humanity.

Kindle'ing a Bonfire add's +1 to the regen effect of Estus Flask's, etc.
So, instead of getting 5 Estus Flask's, you will get 6 at the Bonfire you Kindle'd. But, it is only that particular Bonfire. But, Kindle'ing is permanent.

when you kindle you will get 10 flasks instead of 5.

im soul lvl 20 atm, just got Drake's Sword (200 DMG), too bad i need 5 more pts in str ><, when you see the dragon you can shoot its tail from underneath the bridge. it took about 20-30 heavy arrows to take it down and you get the sword. best dmg weapon i have seen so far..

hard game is hard. effing delicious.

ive died like 100 times lol, might restart w/ pyro, not sure yet,

I have a lvl 10 thief right now. Trying to farm money for a short bow. But using an estoc with wooden shield on my thief.
I plan to get enough strength to carry stuff and probably endurance for rolling/attacking.

But dude the game is so different. There are so many different possibly paths, crazy

Lol I'm so lost and originally went down but decided to backtrack to go upstairs lol. Down seems darker and scarier
