Console versions from what I've seen typically tend to be an open world layout..vita versions are not
Therefore the vita versions level layouts are different then the console version, which are usually broken up into 3 short stages per level
The vita games are typically shorter
Console games sometimes have a trophy or two that require a second player..the vita version is 100% single player
A downside to the vita games are that The cut scenes look like cheap bootleg knockoffs with dull and bland colors
With the exception of Ninjago Nindroids and Batman 3, their cutscenes are now bold and vivid..like they should have always been..not that it matters much..I usually just skip them if and when I can
Console versions tend to have more trophies and as of recently..now have season passes..but for the vita..there is no season pass..thus making your 100% completion just that much cheaper to afford..if you're after a fun and easy but still a slightly time consuming platinum..I'd go with the vita version every time
