Soul Sacrifice Delta Announced for PS Vita
Plus, Soul Sacrifice 2 has also been confirmed.
Soul Sacrifice is one of PS Vita’s most promising titles so far in 2013, and we liked it. It’s a Monster Hunter-like game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune, and as you may remember in an interview with IGN, he revealed that a sequel to the game was likely.
Well, today at Sony’s pre-TGS press conference in Japan, Inafune took the stage to announce a new title, Soul Sacrifice Delta, as well as to confirm a full-fledged sequel.
Details about Soul Sacrifice Delta are relatively scarce, other than to say that it’s launching in Japan exclusively on PS Vita in March of 2014, and it seems to be an updated version of the original Soul Sacrifice (think of Ragnarok Odyssey’s jump to Ragnarok Odyssey Ace for context).
There will be some new features in the game, including a third, yet-unknown alignment, and more. We should get more solid details at TGS.
As mentioned earlier, Inafune also confirmed what he already said to us earlier this year: Soul Sacrifice 2 – a real, full-fledged sequel, will also come to PS Vita. We hope to learn more about that soon, as well.
