Just find the lightning spear...it isn't too far in at all...you get past that first multi-armed serpent, get to the outside stairs where the boulder rolls down, get up and take a quick left before getting crushed, in that room should be a chest that's a mimic, take a swing at it, kill the mimic without being eaten, get lightning spear, ???, PROFIT. Enjoy steamrolling your way through the rest of that place with it, cuz lightning does work. I just upped it to +5 and used it for the rest of my playthrough along with a +10 Fire Washing Pole.

for first playthrough lightning and fire weapons are soo strong.
no lie, a +5 lightning wep will get you through playthrough one easily, then for playthrough 2 it'll still last you, but if you want a higher smacking weapon you can always swap to a black knight weapon.
and if scaling is fixed (haven't played since before patch, but supposedly it's fixed) then you'll do even more damage with proper scaling

If i accidentally killed the golem and left for anor londo can i leave, go back to firelink and get a few thing?? Rings and stuff?

yeah you just go to the place they dropped you off at. theyll fly you back down


edit: but once you finish anor lundo you get the lordvessel, which lets you warp between certain bonfires.

You probably want to finish smough and ornstein ASAP so you can get lord vessel and just warp back.
There isn't much to get going back unless you need some supplies from vendors or something

I preferred the washing pole because I like the varied attack pattern and it's long as shit....It's literally Sephiroth's sword. To get it you need to join the Forest Hunter Covenant and then buy it from Shiva of the East near that waterhweel at the bottom of Blighttown, but in all honesty the Claymore is a good choice for a flame weapon, my buddy did a +10 Claymore, does a bit more damage but half the range. The Claymore is where that red dragon is back at the Undead Burg....I think there's time to grab it before you get cooked, idk cuz I just murdered the dragon and took it all.

What is a good covenant to join? and how do i kill dragon??
