10+ years since the release and there's still more of a spark coming from Diablo 2 than Game of the Year RPG's. The lack of Unique or Super Unique monsters/ foes & Limiting the number of allowable mods an item can posses/ the drop rate of interesting finds; to me is one of the most boring aspects of Skyrim,

Damn I'm officially done with ES: Skyrim, only lvl 45 and I've completed the Main Q + Several other of the Faction Q Lines.. Just have absolutely no interests in turning it on to complete another shitty quest, that involves killing the same old 1 of 4 enemy types and turning in the Q to some easily forgettable NPC.

I had such high hopes for this game and I'm sad to say I bet other games are more deserving of the GotY award.

Comparing a multi player game to an single player game is silly.

However I do agree to some extent. They need to change the system so that you can ALWAYS have a chance to find an item better than items you can create.

Because right now I have unlimited money really and made all my own gear with 100 smithing and enchanting. So drops/treasure mean nothing to me.

There is unique foes, they are just upgraded normal foes.

Aka Captain/Chief Bandits etc.

I understand what you mean, I just wish Skyrim ran similar to D2's Item mechanics/ generator. Even Wow's attempt bored me very very fast, D3 will probably win me over.

...and the Captains/ Bandits are sooo easy to kill once you master craft your inventory.. Even the DRAGONS & Giants seemed pointless to slaughter after a while, especially if you know how to Shout 'n Slash.... or Cast...

I don't know, seems like nothing beats the few first months of Diablo II 's fresh Ladder... Hope D3 doesn't flail!

D2 is garbage. You do the same 5 acts that take 10 mins each over and over. The item shit didnt make it anymore fun. The game was fun for like 2 playthroughs 5 years ago. Gear based games like WoW and Diablo are stupid. At least in skyrim you dont need the best shit to get anywhere.

GW > any MMO even to this day

I've turned it up to master level and I died once recently which had never happened prior. Adds some adventure. But yes nothing is a challenge.

I just did the first battle with Alduin on master and he had no chance, I didn't even use a single potion.

Maybe DLC will help?
But, it is a common complaint that the game wasn't hard or long enough. ( ;) See what I did there, keke. )

well the challenge of master is to start off on master from scratch, turning it up after you're done enchanting everything along with smithing and maybe alchemy to top it all off would make the game easy
i've played 4 different chars on master, ditched the last three chars after a certain point but the game is always hardest the first 20-25 lvls of master. i'm lvl 55 and don't use smithing over 100 and haven't touched alchemy or enchanting, choosing only one between smithing, alchemy or enchanting makes it more balanced

but i do think the game is burned out for me, i'm on a long break from it. probably will come back and finish the main quest and stormcloak questline then get rid of the game, depending on how good the DLC is though. i hope Bethesda comes out with fallout 4, it would be the shittttt on a game engine like Skyrim, personally i like fallout 3 better than the elder scrolls games

That's because of bug, when you cast some spell that isn't damage over time, you need 10-20 more mana than said spell uses to cast it.
