this headphone thing plugs into the controller and i can hear ppl using mics?
would that work with any headphones?
e: does my ps3 officia lbluetooth work with ps4?

The Bluetooth earpiece? No it doesn't and never will.

You can plug any headphones you want into controller. Headphones with a mic are not guaranteed to work but I've heard some do it's just hit or miss

And all headphones with mic work, the thing that might not work is the volume control buttons ON the actual headphones. Though you can always adjust the volume on the device settings when you holdthe ps bbutton
