If PS4 offers some interesting second screen innovation then Vita sales will increase and you will see more and more titles being developed.

Well actually being able to remote play would be a plus for me. But it would be really cool if I can play a game on my Vita while my wife just say watches a movie.

Yeah, that part of the gamepad is cool. It's just everything else the gamepad does while you are playing normally. For instance, I don't need an exact 1:1 mirror of the game I am playing on the tv on the gamepad.
The gamepad should of just been an optional peripheral for a re-release Wii called Wii2 or something.

not all games do the 1:1 mirror
mario does it for the boost mechanic so you know where you're placing the platforms

games like MH3U have the option of playing the game on the gamepad or having the same kinda details on the gamepad screen that the 3ds version has on the bottom screen or completely not using the gamepad and instead using the controller
