I don't feel like I'm driving a tank in GT5. I mean it totally depends on the car. If you're driving a Range Rover or that Nazi truck then yeah those do drive like tanks, but the race/sports car are very agile around corners.
but I think I know what you mean, I hate how when you're driving higher speeds you don't "feel" like you're driving fast. Like when you're going 120 it feels like you're going 50. and when you're going 60 it feels like you're going 15mph. Really hope this gets addressed in GT6 but kind of doubt it. My expectations for GT6 aren't as high as they were for GT5.. sure it'll be much better than GT5 but I'm not expecting a lot out of it.
Now come GT7 on the PS4? hell yeah, I expect those guys to blow our minds!!

Nah, just Los Santos. Apparently it's going to be bigger than San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV (If I rmember) combined.

Also going to have the most vehicles of any GTA yet.
